All care is taken when preparing aquatic animals for shipping involving double-bagging and using both bubble wrap and newspaper as well.
You must inform us of any DOA’s within 2 hours of delivery involving photographic proof of the deceased still in the unopened bag.
They’ll be sent in a styrofoam box, double bagged, with ice pack/s, bubble wrap and newspaper to prevent rolling around. The box itself will be labeled accordingly as we do our absolute best in making sure the lotl/s will arrive to the destinations safely.
Shipping cut off times are Saturday’s 9pm ACST.
This is to allow at least 24hrs for the lotl to go through a fasting period before shipping to minimise potential ammonia build up during transport. A feed is recommended to be given on day of arrival at least 6hrs after arrival, though be aware the lotl may not eat for at least 24hrs due to any stress from travel.
Pick up locations are Seaford SA (weekdays) and Flagstaff Hill SA (weekends).
